About Me
Hi, I’m the founder of jLev Designs, and I’ve been creating beautiful things for as long as I can remember.
My creative journey began with makeup artistry — a career I’ve cherished for over 30 years. From the fast-paced fashion and TV world to weddings and mitzvahs, I loved helping people feel confident and radiant. But alongside that passion, another one quietly bloomed: graphic design.
For the past 20 years, I’ve been designing print materials like flyers, posters, brochures, and newsletters, as well as graphics for social media — much of it in the Jewish nonprofit space. Fourteen years ago, when my son’s bar mitzvah came around, I decided to take it all on myself: the logo, the invitations, the swag, and the decor. I had so much fun that people started asking me to design for their events too — and from there, it just took off.
For years, I juggled this work as a side gig while serving as Communications Director at a local synagogue. But when that role shifted to part-time due to budget cuts, I saw it as a sign — quite literally, from my late father z”l — that it was time to invest fully in what I love.
Today, jLev Designs is the heart of my work. I specialize in helping individuals and organizations bring their stories to life through thoughtful, modern design — especially within the Jewish community.
